  • Payroll and Tax Reporting Services – MyHRBenefits.net works with a leading payroll service company to provide complete payroll processing and tax reporting services for our clients. Fees are guaranteed to be 25% less than ADP, Ceridian or Paychex.
  • Employee handbook – The Handbook is custom produced for each client highlighting their needs and objectives. It contains an Introduction, Commencing Employment, Company Policies, Personnel, Company Facilities, Benefits, Termination, EEOC Requirements, Internet and Email Policy, etc. Ongoing support and periodic revisions required due to legislative or Labor Law changes are provided as needed.
  • Employment Law Training – Comprised of three components:

Preventing Sexual Harassment: A complete, up-to-date training program covering substantive issues pertaining to sexual harassment. It explains how to identify harassment. It explains how to identify harassment and harassers. Distinguishes between quid pro quo and hostile environment harassment. Defines employer responsibility along with the reasonable person standard. Once completed, clients will understand company obligations, the steps necessary to investigate a potential harassment –even how to effectively deal with both the harasser and the harassed. Clients will also understand the appropriate procedures for reporting misconduct.

Effective Hiring under the Law: Helps set and achieve employee hiring goals. The program assists in reviewing client’s hiring processes, avoiding any illegal practices, improving hiring decisions and, thereby, preventing problems down the road. Reviews policies on independent contractors, temps, job descriptions, promotions and transfers, the application and interview process, and arbitration and grievance procedures. When appropriate the effects on policies of a company’s collective bargaining agreement are covered.

Managing Employee Performance Issues: Provides an easy-to-follow process covering almost every employee performance issue one might face; from dealing with injured or disabled employees to investigating employee misconduct to disciplining and terminating employees, Details a company’s legal obligations and risks including OSHA Policy, FMLA and ADA coverage, leave of absence policies, and ongoing monitoring protocols.

    • Employee Assistance Program – We contract with a national company that specializes in employee assistance programs to provide employees with confidential toll-free hotline access to a professional counselor on a variety of personal problems: marital and family issues, depression, substance abuse, legal and financial problems. Utilization of this benefit is 100% confidential.
    • Personalized Employee Benefit Statements - We can provide employees with a summary of their benefits that lists the total cost to the employer to provide these benefits, including the company’s payroll tax costs. This statement is often called a “hidden paycheck” because it shows exactly how much the company is spending on benefits for each employee. In addition to information on insured benefits, the summary also itemizes other benefits such as sick pay, paid vacations, holidays, etc. Sometimes, employees take benefits for granted – they don’t realize how much their employer is spending for all the benefits they receive. This statement is a great way to improve morale and show  employees that they are compensated more than they realize. It is also a very valuable tool at salary review time.
    • Section 125 Plans – We implement a Section 125 plan if one does not exist. We review and amend the plan as necessary to keep it in compliance with federal guidelines and annually prepare signature-ready 5500 form(s) for filing.
